II. Working Principle of Vertical Mill: Efficient Grinding in a Single Pass
The working principle of the vertical mill is equally impressive. The main motor drives the grinding disc through a reducer, while the grinding rollers rotate along the disc's raceway. Material falls from the feed inlet onto the center of the grinding disc, moving uniformly under centrifugal force. As it traverses the grinding track, the material is crushed by the grinding rollers. Larger particles are instantly pulverized, while finer particles form a bed for inter-particle grinding. Drying and grinding occur simultaneously: hot air enters uniformly around the grinding disc, drying the material and conveying it to the upper classifier. Qualified fine powder exits the mill with the airflow, collected by the system's powder collector as the finished product.
