Working Principle of the LUM Ultra-Fine Vertical Mill
Material is fed via a screw feeder onto the central grinding disc of the LUM mill. Driven by the main motor through a reducer, the grinding disc rotates, generating centrifugal force that evenly distributes the material toward the periphery. As the material passes through the roller track zone on the grinding disc, it is crushed by the grinding rollers. Larger particles are directly crushed, while smaller particles form a bed under compression, enabling inter-particle grinding. The crushed material continues moving toward the grinding disc's edge, where it is carried by airflow entering through the inlet into the classifier for grading. Under the action of the classifier blades, particles failing to meet the required particle size fall back onto the grinding disc for re-grinding. Particles meeting the standard pass through the classifier with the airflow into the pulse dust collector for collection. The collected powder discharged from the collector is the finished powder. Impurities like iron chunks, being difficult to grind and having high weight, cannot be carried by the airflow when passing the grinding disc edge. They fall into the lower chamber of the mill, where scrapers convey them to the slag discharge port for removal outside the main grinding unit.

Performance Features of LUM Ultra-Fine Vertical Grinding Mill
(1) Equipped with a specialized grinding structure featuring high-pressure roller grinding for high efficiency. Forms an effective material layer preventing direct contact between grinding wheels and grinding discs, reducing iron contamination and ensuring high whiteness and purity of the finished product.
(2) Utilizes multi-stage classification with PLC variable-frequency speed control for each rotor, enabling adjustable fineness, narrow particle size distribution, and controllable 2μm content. Simultaneously produces multiple product grades with high accuracy and reproducibility in fineness segmentation.
(3) The equipment employs PLC/DCS automated grinding roller pressure control, eliminating manual operation. It is equipped with an advanced SIEMENS control system featuring comprehensive interlock protection to ensure stable operation.
(4) The equipment maintains excellent overall sealing. The system operates under negative pressure with an oversized dust collector design, preventing dust leakage and ensuring a clean environment that complies with national environmental protection requirements.
What is the price of an ultra-fine vertical grinding mill?
